I have a special devotion to our Lady of Fatima because she has prayed for me and my family since I began my daily recitation of the Rosary.  I always admired people that prayed the Rosary daily, but wondered how they added that into their already busy lives.  Then I began to look at myself and think, there are a million things I could not do so that I have time to pray the Rosary.  It became increasingly clear to me that a daily Rosary wasn't just a choice, but a joyful obligation.  After completing a Glory Stories CD about Our Lady of Fatima in the car one day with my children, I realized that our Blessed Mother desires with all her heart that we faithfully pray the Rosary in order to make reparation for her Immaculate Heart and for a conversion of sinners.  It was Our Lady of Fatima that turned me to the Rosary.  From that day on, not a day goes by that I don't recite the Rosary.  Even if I don't have my Rosary beads at hand, I pray it on my fingers instead.   I've made if a point of memorizing the mysteries, so that no matter where or when, I can pray the Rosary.  

How has the Rosary changed my life?  It has given me abundant graces and strengthened my desire to grow in holiness and serve God.  It has taught me to pray for others and not just myself.  

The Rosary is such a gift and it helps us and others when we pray it.  I believe that the Rosary is so powerful that it can bring about miracles if one truly prays the Rosary with devotion.  I pray for miracles such as an end to abortion, war, child abuse, etc.  and I trust completely in our Blessed Mother that through the promise of Fatima, we will receive abundant graces and blessings despite our sufferings here in this life.
